Unitarian Universalist Association Membership Statistics Show Continued Decline For 2019

This UUA 2019 Annual Dashboard PDF shows continued and significant decline of the Unitarian Universalist "religion" in 2019. Religious Education enrollments are almost 10,000 fewer than four years ago in 2015. . . This does not bode well for future growth of The Tiny Declining Fringe Religion.

I can't help but wonder if the continued and significant decline in Religious Education enrollments aka Sunday school attendance is at least partly due to an increasing awareness of sexual abuse of children committed by UUA clergy and Religious Educators, even though the UUA officially denied any sexual abuse of children by UUA ministers in the "less than honest" UUA Board "apology" to victims-survivors of Unitarian Universalist clergy sexual abuse that UUA Moderator Jim Key inappropriately sandwiched into his first Moderator's Report to a UUA GA in 2014.

There is also a massive decline in "Non-Member Friends" dropping from 191,876 in 2015 to 72.918 in 2019, and the number of UUA congregations has now dropped below 1030. Many of those UUA congregations are "less than viable" with memberships of well under 50 people per "church".

The UUA membership statistics in the graphic have now been added to the official UUA membership statistics webpage here:

That being said, the total number of *certified* UUA congregations, including those with no financial contribution in 2018-2019 is currently only 991 congregations. . .

The UUA typically adds non-certified congregations to certified congregations to arrive at its "official" number of congregations, but many non-certified UUA congregations have been non-certified for many years now. . .
