Unitarian Universalist "Church" Censorship Of Clergy Abuse Whistleblowers Is WRONG
But don't take *my* word for it U*Us, take the word of dis-illusioned ex-U*U BDSM Dom Desmond Ravenstone, as posted in Desmond's response to the Quora question asking "Is censorship a right or wrong thing?"
Using the authority of government to deprive others of what some may think is wrong.
If you want citizens to participate in democratic governance, then they have to be sufficiently informed. That cannot occur when government deliberately restricts information, even in the name of “protecting” people from “bad” ideas.
If you think that what a person or group says is wrong, then respond to it. Even better, educate people to think more critically.
Here is my response to Desmond Ravenstone's "refection":
If only “less than ethical” top level UUA leadership such as UUA President Rev. Dr. Peter “Beyond Belief” Morales and UUA Executive *Vice* President Kathleen aka Kay Montgomery, and the UUA’s “less than honest” Canadian attorney, had thought more critically about falsely accusing me of the archaic criminal act of blasphemous libel for blogging about “such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape” committed by “certain Unitarian Universalist ministers”, to say nothing of certain UUA “Religious Educators”. . .
