The Côte-des-Neiges-NDG borough mayor is creating Courage-Equipe Sue Montgomery.

In a press release, they (sic) party say its political commitment is based on four main values: integrity, courage, community and innovation – and that it will focus on transparency and allow their councillors to express their opinions freely “without fear of reprisal.”

The new party will present candidates for all five districts of the borough in the upcoming November municipal elections.

Montgomery was first elected as mayor of CDN-NDG in 2017. She also worked as a journalist for the Montreal Gazette.
