UUgRRl Is Speaking Truth In Love To U*Us. . .

As a result of running a blogger.com search on Rev. Tracey Robinson-Harris, the Director of the UUA's Department of Congregational Services that is now initially handling U*U clergy misconduct complaints in order to provide a "safer"* process. . . I just became aware of the brand spanking new Speaking Truth To Power blog of UUgrrl that is dedicated to dealing with the procedural aspects of how Unitarian Universalists address U*U clergy sexual misconduct. This is a very promising development as there are serious problems with the current UUA procedures for handling cases of clergy misconduct, be it sexual misconduct or otherwise, in spite of UUA pretense about having significantly improved procedures over the years. Please note that the UUgrrl is asserting that the procedures themselves are seriously flawed. It is quite another matter that the UUA, its Congregational Services department, the Ministerial Fellowship Committee, and other responsible parties including individual U*U "churches" do a botch up job of implementing these flawed procedures in any case. . .
