You are all aware of the ongoing controversy regarding the immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy attempted misuse of Canada's blasphemy law in clergy sex abuse cover-up legal bullying by senior UUA leadership including Yours Truly. Unfortunately, the arrogant and aggressive cease and desist demand letter that, aided and abetted by "retired" UUA Executive *Vice* President Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery, I hired Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors defamation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe to have The Emerson Avenger served with almost five years ago made UUA clergy sex abuse cover-up matters worse than ever before. In my hasty #BatShitCrazy effort I created more Big Fat U*U ButtHurt for those already butt hurting. I failed to lead appropriately. I reacted when I should have listened to The Emerson Avenger when he spoke with me during the April 2010 UUA Board of Trustees meetings. I am deeply sorry for my Big Fat U*U "Mistake(s)".
I have clearly lost the trust of many people and my immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy "blasphemous libel" and "sexual harassment" accusations against The Emerson Avenger have become a Big Fat U*U Focal Point aka an * in the ongoing discussion of U*U clergy sex abuse, and UUA cover-up and denial thereof. It is clear to me that I am not the right person to lead our tiny, declining, fringe religion as we U*Us work together to create the processes and structures that will address the shortcomings in our ability to cover-up and deny "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" and build the perverse staff we all want. We need space for healing our self-inflicted wounds and for finally listening to The Emerson Avenger's good advice.
It is time for me to step aside. I am resigning the office of UUA president effective April 1 aka April Fools Day aka Big Fat U*U Fools Day. It has been a dishonour and Big Fat U*U Dis*Ass*ter to serve as president of The U*U Movement aka The Tiny Declining Fringe Religion. I am grateful for your dedicated and diligent disservice to our #UUfaith by doing absolutely nothing to hold me, or Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery accountable for our immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy misuse of Canada's blasphemy law in UUA clergy sex abuse cover-up legal bullying that was*is quite evidently intended to cover-up and deny "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers", to say absolutely nothing of "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist Religious Educators". May you U*Us dredge up some wisdom, vision, and moral courage in the days ahead, God knows I haven't got any.
My fervent prayer aka Big Fat U*U Prayer is that by stepping aside I help create a space for moving forward together in love and respect for our pedophiles and rapists and other U*U sex offenders. It is time for us U*Us to come together, to listen deeply to one another, to reaffirm our commitment to totally disregarding and shamefully betraying our not only our "ideals", but our centuries old tradition of opposing blasphemy laws which I unfortunately officially brought to a Big Fat U*U End on Friday June 1st of 2012.
