The Emerson Avenger Is "Just As Crazy As Ever" And So Is The Unitarian Church of Montreal. . .
Today as I was engaging in my "alternative spiritual practice" of protesting various U*U injustices and abuses outside of the Unitarian Church of Montreal one of the people entering the "church" launched the following words in my direction - "You're just as crazy as ever."
Technically he is of course correct. I am indeed as crazy as I ever was. The question is was I ever "crazy" and, if so, just how "crazy" is that? My response too him was that he and the rest of the congregation of the Unitarian Church of Montreal are just as "crazy" as ever too. . . I pointed out that it was "crazy" for he and other Montreal Unitarians (to say nothing of other U*Us in positions of responsibility within the U*U World. . .) to obstinately refuse to negotiate a genuinely just, equitable and compassionate settlement of this long drrawn out conflict. I dare say that it is also just a bit "crazy" for Montreal U*Us, to say nothing of other U*Us. . . to continue to suggest that I am "crazy", "nuts", "unwell", and even "psychotic" and suffering from "schizophrenia", when one of the core elements of my ongoing public protest is protesting against such malicious pathologizing of yours truly by Montreal Unitarians and other U*Us.

I was hoping my last comment, long ago, had an impact. But, you're just as crazy as ever.
The withdrawal of Emerson Avenger's membership from the Unitarian Church of Montreal was not motivated by his religious beliefs, but by his disruptive and aggressive behavior towards the members of this congregation. His inappropriate behaviour has continued for more than ten years. Seven years ago he was brought before a Disruptive Behavior Committee more than once, where over the next three years attempts were made to have him moderate his unacceptable behaviours. He would agree to proposed solutions and then go on as before. He was repeatedly warned that failure to comply with what he had agreed to do would result in serious consequences. Over this period, he was suspended from participation in Church life for six months. Unfortunately, upon his return his behaviour worsened , and he was suspended for an additional year. Again when he returned, but his inappropriate behavior continued. Finally in November 1999, at a meeting of the full congregation, during which he spoke on his own behalf, a congregational vote was taken and his membership was revoked. This decade long process, during which sincere attempts were made by the congregation to negotiate a solution, ended when it became absolutely clear that he had no intention of ceasing his disruptive and aggressive behaviours. It should be noted that Reverend Ray Drennan did apologise, in person, on more than one occasion, and in writing. However, this did not meet with the Emerson Avenger's satisfaction. The Emerson Avenger has redressed his grievances to whomever he has saw fit, be it the UAA, CUC, etc., and his complaint to the Quebec Human Rights Commission in 2002 was summarily dismissed as being without merit. The Emerson Avenger continues to picket the church in the futile belief that the Church will act. Reverend Drennan is no longer the minister as he left 2 years ago to follow his own life’s journey; and the church has simply moved on.
So Emerson Avenger shall I also post my second document?
Perhaps he considers you low-priority.
I think that I have clearly *demonstrated* to U*Us, Montreal Unitarians and otherwise, just what a "patient" fellow I can be over the last decade or so. My post was issued as a challenge to Anonymous U*U to put up or shut up. . . I look forward to methodically and quite patiently rebutting his or her future postings of DIM Thinking misinformation, especially anything having to do with the purely mythological "chair throwing incident" that I was recently accused of. . .
