The Sanctuaries Love Reaches Out Song And Unitarian Universalist Hate Speech, Clergy Abuse And UUA Legal Bullying - What's The Connection?

How about these comments that I posted in response to the YouTube video of four Unitarian Universalist musicians from The Sanctuaries performing 'Love Reaches Out'?
I think that this is a very good music video, and I expect that it was produced with good intentions, I have NO quarrel with the UUs who created this video or Erik Martinez Resly who posted it here.

My quarrel is with outrageously hypocritical UUs who make a TOTAL mockery of both the letter and the spirit of this song's lyrics and the UUA's "Reaching Out In Love" sloganeering more generally.

A UU Religious Educator saying,

"Sorry I contacted you. Please stop messaging me." =

The complete antithesis of "Love Reaches Out" aka "Reaching Out In Love".

This is but one single example of Unitarian Universalists making a TOTAL mockery of the UUA's all but completely fraudulent "Love Reaches Out" rhetoric.

Unitarian Universalists in general, but UU clergy and UUA leaders in particular really have to try a little bit harder to actually live up to the letter and spirit of their religious sloganeering if they do not want to be perceived as two-faced hypocrites by people who can see hypocrisy from a mile away.

The Rev. Peter Morales UUA administration that came up with this latest "less than honest" UUA "rebranding" propaganda most certainly does NOT practice what it preaches about "reaching out in love". Au contraire, Rev. Peter Morales and Co. reach out in immoral, unethical, and I dare say just a tad hateful Lance Armstrong style legal bullying that not only attempts to cover up and hide the Truth about egregious UU clergy sexual misconduct by misusing Canada's  blasphemy law, but seeks to hide evidence of non-sexual clergy abuse that, most ironically, includes what can be quite justifiably described as "hate speech".

The hypocrisy.

The hypocrisy. . .

I can feel it alright. . .

The "love" of outrageously hypocritical UUA leaders like Rev. Peter Morales et all reached out to me with an arrogant and aggressive cease and desist demand letter falsely accusing me of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel for allegedly making "unfounded and vicious allegations to the effect that ministers of the Association engage in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" in immoral, unethical, and borderline criminal legal bullying that seeks to cover up and hide that fact that "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" and certain UUA Religious Educators have not only engaged in "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape", but have been charged, tried, and convicted of these crimes and incarcerated for commiting them.

"Love" as in ZERO integrity on the part of the Peter Morales administration, and the Gini Courter and Jim Key led UUA Board of Trustees, which continue to obstinately refuse to withdraw these false accusation of blasphemous libel, publicly apologize for bringing it against me, and hold accountable those UUA leaders and UUA staff who are responsible for this shameful misuse of Canadian blasphemy law in cynical legal bullying that is obviously intended to conceal egregious clergy misconduct on the part of UUA clergy.

These are very serious allegations. Without stating your full case here, your post amounts to an attempt to damage a faith tradition that has a history of being very intentional about safe congregations policy and procedure. By the way, I'm a religious educator who takes these matters very seriously, as I know my colleagues do.

+Barb Friedland  Truth be told Barb, it is UU clergy and UUA leaders like UUA President Rev. Peter Morales and "retired" UUA Executive Vice President Kathleen Kay Montgomery who brought "very serious allegations" against me via the UUA's Canadian attorney Stikeman Elliott litigation lawyer Maitre Marc AndrĂ© Coulombe. They have yet to produce a scrap of evidence supporting their accusation that I am guilty of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel for allegedly making "unfounded and vicious allegations to the effect that ministers of the Association engage in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" despite repeated demands on my part that they do so. Rev. Victoria Weinstien and Kay Montgomery were certainly in a position to know full well I told the Truth about Rev. Mack W. Mitchell and Peacebang's parishioner Richard Buell. Please DO feel free to engage in a free and genuinely responsible Google search for the Truth and meaning of what I am saying here.

Forgive me for saying so Barb but, in ineptly and falsely accusing me of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel for telling the well-documented Truth about Rev. Mack W. Mitchell and a non-clergy "pedophile rapist" in Rev. Victoria Weinstein's former parish of First Parish Norwell UU Church, the Peter Morales administration has damaged a faith tradition that has a history of being very intentional about covering up and hiding clergy sexual misconduct as much as it can, even after UUA clergy and UUA religious educators have actually been convicted of engaging in "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape". The Rev. Peter Morales UUA administration, with the full knowledge and consent of both the Gini Courter led UUA Board of Trustees AND the Jim Key led UUA Board, is obstinately refusing to withdraw its immoral, unethical and indeed borderline criminal* blasphemous libel accusation against me and publicly apologize for bringing it against me. I dare say that Peter Morales and Co. have also incredibly foolishly damaged the Unitarian Universalist faith tradition's centuries old religious heritage of being strongly opposed to blasphemy laws. . . N'est-ce pas?

Sorry I contacted you. Please stop messaging me. All you are doing is attacking but not in any way clarifying your case.

+Barb Friedland  "All you are doing is attacking but not in any way clarifying your case."

How exactly would you like me to clarify my case Barb?

I am more than ready, willing and able to do so.

I have provided more than enough detail for you and other U*Us who ostensibly "take these matters very seriously" to engage in a free and responsible search for the Truth and meaning of these matters, and I stand ready to answer any questions that you or any other U*U may have.

It seems to me that you really aren't all that keen on taking these matters very seriously after all. . . Let alone "reaching out in love" towards me and other people who have been victimized by UU clergy and UUA leaders in one way or another. Maybe you and other "like-minded" U*Us should play this music video again, and try a little bit harder to live up to the letter and spirit of its lyrics.
