UUA President Peter Morales' Press Releases And Such Despicable Crimes As Pedophilia And Rape Committed By Certain Unitarian Universalist Ministers - What's The Connection?
How about this plagU*URized parody version of a recent Press Release of UUA President Rev. Dr. Peter "Beyond Belief" Morales?
Rev. Dr. Peter "Beyond Belief" Morales, president of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), has written a letter to Unitarian Universalist ministers to offer words of counsel and support as his "tiny, declining, fringe religion", many U*U communities, and the most vulnerable among abusive UUA clergy face an uncertain future of The U*U Movement. He shares this letter publicly in the spirit of providing guidance for all U*Us in the clergy abuse cover-up and denial work ahead.
Dear U*U ministers,
These are tough times. We are living in the midst of historic cultural turmoil in The U*U Movement. Long festering resentments have been unleashed by Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein, Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy-Mason, "retired" UUA Executive *Vice* President Kathleen "Kay" Montgomery and myself posing immediate threats to the most abusive clergy in our tiny, declining, fringe religion and presenting long term danger to Unitarian Universalism's clay feet.
People are understandably anxious. I hear reports of a steady decline in attendance at U*U worship services across the country. I can only imagine the pastoral demands you are facing—at a time when we U*U ministers are in as much need of a good dressing down as our congregants.
Thank you. Thank you for your "outrage", your perseverance, your faithlessness.
I believe we are entering dangerous times. I expect it's because my UUA administration unleashed human rights abuses aimed at The Emerson Avenger shortly before my second term in office. In the longer term, other marginalized groups ("less than perfect" UUA ministers, the "poor in spirit", colorful U*U people, transgressing U*U congregants, etc.) will be in danger of being blogged about by The Emerson Avenger. We are already seeing an increase in violent acts by Rev. Dr. Vicki The Impaler who sees the UUA's clergy abuse cover-up legal bullying as validation of her hate-filled Peacebang blog posts.
Among the dangers we face is the temptation to “formalize” this U*U shituation via immoral, UNethical, borderline criminal, and yes. . . #BatShitCrazy UUA legal bullying and UUA Moderator James "See NO Evil" Key's #BaldFacedLies. I pray that the incoming UUA administration will prove to be more insane in its rhetoric than mine was and many of its most ardent supporters will seek to continue the UUA's war of words with The Emerson Avenger. I see no evidence that this is the case yet. None. It was irresponsible folly for my UUA administration to act as though The Emerson Avenger's blog posts about "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" constitute the archaic criminal act of blasphemous libel.
We must prepare to provide sanctuary to abusive U*U clergy and resist The Emerson Avenger's TruthTelling about "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers" .
First, we must provide sanctuary for U*U pedophiles and rapists in the broadest and richest sense of the term "sanctuary". We begin with offering safe places for reflection on the UUA's decision to deem such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape to be sacred to The U*U Movement and by doing our best to continue concealing U*U clergy sex abuse from our congregants and for those coming to seek spiritual community. But these times demand more. We must provide sanctuary to those most vulnerable to being exposed by The Emerson Avenger, to say nothing of other clergy abuse critics and whistleblowers. In particular, pedophile UUA ministers (primarily from Massachusetts and Indiana) may well face embarrassing blog posts. In addition, pedophile and*or rapist UUA Religious Educators have been targeted by The Emerson Avenger.
Second, we must continue to engage in human rights violations in #BatShitCrazy ways. We must make it much harder to report, register disgust for, disseminate information about, and thus "despoil" U*U clergy sex abuse.
In the past most of our work for perversion of justice and related cover-up and denial of U*U clergy abuse has been quite successful. We have been advocates for coercing victims and survivors of U*U clergy abuse into signing confidentiality agreements, suppression of civil rights, obstinately delaying and denying reform of UUA clergy misconduct policies and procedures, and the perversion of justice including egregious UUA legal bullying that includes, but is by NO means limited to, falsely accusing The Emerson Avenger of sexual harassment of outrageously hypocritical UUA clergy who "suck and blow at the same time". To use a sports metaphor, we have played offense*. We joined with others such as Rev. Dr. Vicki The Impaler and Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation lawyer Maitre Marc-AndrĂ© Coulombe to advance an agenda of misuse of the Canadian Criminal Code to cover-up and deny not only "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers", but Peacebang's Big Fat U*U Sodomy Fantasy and Rev. Dr. Kelly Murphy-Mason's proclivity towards "sucking and blowing at the same time". Today we must prepare to “play defense” from The Emerson Avenger's retaliatory blog posts and Tweets etc. We will have to respond quickly to The Emerson Avenger's retribU*Ution. We will have to react rather than act like #BatShitCrazy U*U #AssHats. We will need to be agile and fast as opposed to being slU*Uggish and slow as molU*Ues.
As always, the key will be to work together. We have shown our ability to do this from orchestrating the human rights violations of Stikeman Elliott in Montreal to joining in the resistance against The Emerson Avenger's ongoing Truth Telling about U*U clergy abuse and other U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. We are effective in protecting abusive U*U clergy when our congregations and ministers work together at the local level, combined with support from regional and national staff. We make a difference when we form strong partnerships with corrupt corporate lawyers and secular organizations like the SPVM.
At the national level, we are working to form partnerships with other faith groups and other U*U organizations. My office is now working with a co-opted U*U "Safety Net" and with our field staff. The UUA, Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association and our Ministerial *Fellowship* Committee are working together closely. I have had a number of meetings with my counterparts in other faiths. Don Southworth, Executive Director for the Unitarian Universalist Ministers Association, and I are holding a series of listening meetings with abusive UUA ministers and their UUA enablers across the country.
I invite you to visit the “Show the Love For Abusive UUA Clergy” hub on UUA.org for resources. I encourage you to see what colleagues are doing and to share what you are doing on
www.uua.org/action/show-love.
In the coming weeks you will hear more as we work together to support abusive UUA clergy. For now, I want each of you to know that you are not alone. Together we are strong. Together we inspire one another. Together we can do this. We need one another.
Thank you again for all you do.
Love for abusive U*U ministers will guide us.
Hope for more effective UUA clergy abuse cover-up and denial will sustain us.
Ultimately we shall prevail against The Emerson Avenger and other clergy abuse critics and whistleblowers.
In Bad Faith,
Peter Morales
President of the Unitarian Universalist Association
