The Unitarian Universalist Association Is Quite Corrupt And Racist

But don't take *my* word for it U*Us. . .

Take the word of Unitarian Universalist "gadfly" Chris Barghout, as posted to the U*U World blog in this comment Chris Barghout posted in response to the U*U World article entitled:

In resigning, some UUA staff received ‘shocking’ severance

So the UUA is racist and now quite corrupt as well. And by not publishing the names of this con or the amounts, the interim board is complicit in this charade. Legally, if this were a large corporation that UU's complain about or the government, the names and amounts paid would be compulsory. Legally therefore, the church is hiding behind its church status in keeping info from us, its members. That Bill Sinkford and the board are astonished and shocked while keeping us in the dark is pure baloney. (Baloney not my first choice of words but this article would have been deleted). Half a million from the budget disappeared could not be kept secret for long. Black leaders elected almost exclusively by whites, who complain about a culture of white supremacy, while at the same time only give out info that would certainly been outed at GA, while withholding the more important info about who and how much, don't appear to be anything approximating the beloved community they give lip service to. And the two leading candidates for new denominational president both represent ministers from communities where housing costs at least 1.5 million and up and where one sends her kid to a segregated school (check it for yourself) it's in her bio.

Every night we hear about what did Trump know or one of his underlings know about Russian collusion, now us liberals get to have the same fun conversation. Believing the interim board and others were in the dark for 2 months, that they are freely giving us info now, that things are as they appear is impossible to stomach. The one thing to be sure of is the money is gone or will be soon. The other is unless this magazine or others become more then the UU equivalent of Fox news, things will be swept under the rug.
