The Horror. . . The Horror. . . Of U*U Brown Bag Lunches. . .

Oh dear. . .

It looks like Rev. Diane Rollert of the alleged Unitarian Church of Montreal is quite oblivious to the Starr*k raving "brown bag lunch" controversy. ;-)

What's New

Friday, September 28, 2007

The Unitarian Church of Montreal has a wealth of activities; you can just sample or get more involved in this community. In the month of September, you can

Join Rev. Diane Rollert for a new season of Seeking the Sacred in Stories, a brown bag lunch group meeting at noon on September 25th (copies of the story available at the UCM office).

How terribly un-PC of you Rev. Rollert. . .

Or perhaps she is using the power and authority of her pulpit to offer a prophetic witness against the injustice of Starr King's dogmatic vapidity. Lord knows someone needs to.

Not likely Fausto.

But U*Us should know Rev. Diane Rollert IS quite evidently misusing and abusing the power and authority of her pulpit to offer a not so prophetic witness against yours truly. . .

I guess I will just have to offer my own prophetic witness against those further U*U injustices arising from Rev. Diane Rollert's apparently quite "dogmatic" stupidity.

Lord knows someone needs to.

Because I can be pretty sure that you and other U*Us won`t. . .

I wouldn't know about that, but even if so, good on her anyway for having the courage to defend the term "brown bag luch" against cultural misappropriation. There's a little bit of good even in the worst of us.

Once again Beantown U*U blogger "Fausto" proves that he is more than a little bit out to lunch by pleading ignorance when he has more than enough publicly available information at his disposal to know very well that Rev. Diane Rollert is almost certainly misusing and abusing her position as a minister, if not the power and authority of her pulpit, to offer some perjurious false witness against me. Am I mistaken Fausto? Just what is it that you don't know about here?

Fausto is also quite out to lunch in pretending that Rev. Diane Rollert is courageously setting out to "defend the term "brown bag lunch" against cultural misappropriation." Rev. Rollert is simply using the term "brown bag lunch" in the manner that it has been traditionally used in our culture for some time now. She is probably blissfully unaware of the ridiculous "anti-racist" Starr King controversy over the use of the term "brown bag lunch".

:There's a little bit of good even in the worst of us.

One would hope so Fausto. . . Still I find it most interesting that, on the one hand, you plead ignorance about my allegation that Rev. Diane Rollert is misusing and abusing her power and authority as a U*U minister in bearing false witnmess against me when you have plenty of information available to you to make an informed decision about; and on the other hand, you applaud Rev. Rollert for having the "courage to defend the term "brown bag luch" against cultural misappropriation" when there is no credible evidence that she is actually doing any such thing.
