These Boots Were Made Walking AND Kicking Hypocritical U*U Butt. . . ;-)
Looks like Peacebang, aka Rev. Victoria Weinstein,
just went and put her foot in it again.
Sorta. . .
Herewith, The Emerson Avenger's
oh so slightly reworked lyrics of
one of his all time favorite songs -
Appropriate embedded links to follow soon. . .
These Boots Were Made For U*Us
U*Us keep saying U*U's got something for me.
something U*Us call love, but confess.
U*Us have been messin'
something U*Us call love, but confess.
U*Us have been messin'
where U*Us shouldn't have been a messin'
and now someone else is gettin' all U*U's best.
These boots are made for walking,
and now someone else is gettin' all U*U's best.
These boots are made for walking,
and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots
one of these days these boots
are gonna walk all over U*Us.
U*Us keep lying, when U*Us oughta be truthin'
and U*Us keep losin' when U*Us oughta not bet.
U*Us keep samin' when U*Us oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but U*Us ain't been right yet.
These boots are made for walking,
U*Us keep lying, when U*Us oughta be truthin'
and U*Us keep losin' when U*Us oughta not bet.
U*Us keep samin' when U*Us oughta be changin'.
Now what's right is right, but U*Us ain't been right yet.
These boots are made for walking,
and that's just what they'll do
one of these days these boots
are gonna walk all over U*Us.
U*Us keep playin' where U*Us shouldn't be playin
and U*Us keep thinkin' that U*Us will never get burnt.
Ha! I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah
and what he knows U*Us ain't HAD time to learn.
Are you ready boots?
U*Us keep playin' where U*Us shouldn't be playin
and U*Us keep thinkin' that U*Us will never get burnt.
Ha! I just found me a brand new box of matches yeah
and what he knows U*Us ain't HAD time to learn.
Are you ready boots?
Start walkin'!

When you like a woman, you need to be a little more subtle. Putting her name all over the internet gets her attention, but in a negative way.
You've probably ruined your chances with her at this point.
Next time, just try sending her flowers maybe, or writing a little note to say you like her page.
:When you like a woman, you need to be a little more subtle.
I thought that it would be abundantly evident from my various blogs posts and other "electronic communications" about Rev. Victoria Weinstein aka Peacebang that I do not particularly like her.
:Putting her name all over the internet gets her attention, but in a negative way.
Which is exactly the kind of attention that I am trying to obtain for Rev. Victoria Weinstein and other obnoxious, abusive and/or outrageously hypocritical U*U clergy (female U*U ministers or otherwise) in my inter*national media campaign exposing U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. . . Thank you so much for hereby acknowledging the online success of The Emerson Avenger`s Unitarian*Universalist media campaign.
:You've probably ruined your chances with her at this point.
Just what "chances" are you referring to here oh so anonymous one? The "chances" that Rev. Victoria Weinstein might humbly confess her insulting and defamatory, obnoxious and abusive clergy misconduct aka unbecoming conduct? Judging from Rev. Weinstein`s "bad attitude", and that of negligent and complicit UUA administrators like her partners in crime Rev. Beth Miller and Rev. Tracey Robinson*Harris, to say nothing of UUA President Bill Sinkford aka Rev. Dr. William G. Sinkford. . . I would say that those "chances" were exceedingly slim to non-existent to begin with.
:Next time, just try sending her flowers maybe, or writing a little note to say you like her page.
I will keep that in mind oh so anonymous one. Personally I think that a miniature version of the Statue of Liberty would be a rather more appropriate gift for Rev. Victoria Weinstein.
It's no shame to love and lose, dude. We all get messed up by cupid sometimes, and the woman you linked to seems really smart and funny and it sounds like she verbally insults people who offend her just like you do. I bet she would be a great girlfriend, but she didn't pick you.
Still, you can't freak out like this just because she didn't like you back. Be a man about it, let it go.
If she didn't want you, maybe the next girl will. But again, being an internet nerd who uses google a lot doesn't impress the ladies much.
Try sending flowers instead.
Clearly you just don't get it or you are a DIM Thinking U*U who is just pretending not to get it. I barely rewrote the song at all. I just changed the word "you" to U*U and slight variations thereof. My reworking of the song has much more to do about U*Us than it has to do with Rev. Victoria Weinstein as an individual U*U. For the record I have never had the slightest romantic interest in Rev. Victoria Weinstein or any other U*U minister for that matter.
:It's no shame to love and lose, dude. We all get messed up by cupid sometimes, and the woman you linked to seems really smart and funny and it sounds like she verbally insults people who offend her just like you do.
Just like rather too many U*Us do. . .
:I bet she would be a great girlfriend, but she didn't pick you.
Indeed not.
Thank the Lord for small mercies. . .
She did however pick *on* me and some other people in a manner that was, and still is, quite unbecoming of a minister of any denomination, not just the Uncommonly Hypocritical Denomination. . .
:Still, you can't freak out like this just because she didn't like you back. Be a man about it, let it go.
Again. My minimal reworking the lyrics of 'These Boots Were Made For Walking' was inspired by Rev. Victoria Weinstein's Peacebang blog post that referenced the song, but it was not directed at Rev. Victoria Weinstein or any other individual U*U, clergy or otherwise. The post is simply a creative way of exposing and denouncing U*U injustices, abuses ande hypocrisy and sending a little message to U*Us world-wide. . .
:If she didn't want you, maybe the next girl will. But again, being an internet nerd who uses google a lot doesn't impress the ladies much.
You'd be surprised. . . There are some ladies that get quite a chuckle out of The Emerson Avenger. There are also some ladies that take what The Emerson Avenger says quite seriously too. This is as it should be since I try to be both educational and entertaining where possible.
:Try sending flowers instead.
I think some soap would be a rather more appropriate gift for Rev. Victoria Weinstein aka Peacebang.
Stop denying your feelings for her, pretending to be ignorant of them and minimizing the passionate things you think about her.
You obviously have a really big crush on her.
Or whatever other U*U Troll* you might be. . .
*For various reasons I would say that ChaliceChick is the prime suspect but we could possibly be dealing with some other DIM Thinking U*U Soul here.
More like k*i*c*k*i*n*g U*U butt Joel. ;-)
Glad you enjoyed the "exchange" Anne.
I do try to inject some humour into the proceedings when dealing with this UNSAFE SECT. ;-)
It just occurred to me Joel.
Were you referring to Rev. Victoria Weinstein`s so-called "kiss of peace" perchance?
Not much chance of that happening unless U*Us e*m*b*r*a*c*e justice first. . .
So how is writing things on the internet about this woman you have a crush on "Kicking Butt?"
More seriously, I've never understood the whole "I'm making change/kicking butt/standing up for my beliefs by posting things on the internet" thing.
CC
Well CC it really is quite silly for you to insist that I have a "crush" on Peacebang aka Rev. Victoria Weinstein in the face of all the evidence to the contrary. . . I am quite evidently talking about kicking U*U butt rather more generally CC but, since you asked, I think that I could say that my strong public criticism of Rev. Victoria Weinstein's "sodomy fantasy", and some of her other rather unbecoming conduct, is a pretty good example of kicking U*U butt.
:(If I'm going to get blamed for it, I might as well play too.)
I guess that's one way of covering your U*U CC.
:More seriously, I've never understood the whole "I'm making change/kicking butt/standing up for my beliefs by posting things on the internet" thing.
No worries CC. Plenty of other people of intelligence and conscience understand the concept very well. Heck. . . Surely you must be aware that "I'm making change/kicking butt/standing up for my beliefs by posting things on the internet" plays a significant role in U*U religious outreach these days?
Admittedly, some people don't.
But I don't see what UU religious outreach is done on the internet at all. People sometimes write me to ask about UUism because they like what they read on my blog and I'm happy to answer their questions, so I guess that's outreach in a sense, but there's no dedicated plan for UU outreach on my part. Indeed, I'm pretty critical of UUism at times.
Like other religions we have a website, and we put our commercials online, but most of the outreach I see is done by brick and mortar churches.
CC
who suspects that your feelings on Peacebang are complicated. I have known men who seemed to view being annoying as a way of getting a woman's attention. More to the point, there are people on the internet whom I dislike. I don't write about them or their body parts and I don't read their blogs and write about what's there. If they say something obnxious, I'm not still talking about it a year later. I don't really think much about the people I dislike. As the anonymous commenter notes, she's on your mind constantly.
In short, while I don't think you have a crush on her in a directr sense, you don't behave like someone who dislikes her, you behave like you want her to notice you and think about you.
No of course not CC. . .
:People sometimes write me to ask about UUism because they like what they read on my blog and I'm happy to answer their questions, so I guess that's outreach in a sense,
In a sense. . .
:but there's no dedicated plan for UU outreach on my part.
Was I just talking about you CC? Or the UUA and U*Us more generally?
:Indeed, I'm pretty critical of UUism at times.
I am not disputing that.
:Like other religions we have a website, and we put our commercials online, but most of the outreach I see is done by brick and mortar churches.
Yes U*Us do put their rather lame commercials online. . .
:who suspects that your feelings on Peacebang are complicated. I have known men who seemed to view being annoying as a way of getting a woman's attention.
This post was not about Peacebang and I am pretty sure that I already got her "attention" a while back anyway. . . I really don't need any more "attention" from Rev. Victoria Weinstein.
:More to the point, there are people on the internet whom I dislike. I don't write about them or their body parts and I don't read their blogs and write about what's there.
Did I actually write about what's on Rev. Weinstein's Peacebang blog CC? Or did I simply use her reference to 'These Boots Were Made For Walking' as a foil to vitually walk all over U*Us and kick hypocritical U*U butt once again?
:If they say something obnxious, I'm not still talking about it a year later.
Well I am. . . but, in case you didn't notice, my "annotated" reworking of 'These Boots Were Made For Walking' deals with a variety of other examples of U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. Did you even bother to follow any of the links from the lyrics to pertinent Google searches and web pages?
:I don't really think much about the people I dislike.
It is not a question of disliking certain people CC, although that is not out of the question either, it is a question of disliking U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy and using the lyrics of 'These Boots Were Made For Walking' to point them out once again.
:As the anonymous commenter notes, she's on your mind constantly.
Not at all. I check her inane blog every now and then to see if there is a post worth playing off of. Evidently I finally found one. . . Rev. Victoria Weinstein is no more constantly on my mind than any other obnoxious and/or outrageously hypocritical U*U minister, female or otherwise. You might as well try to lamely argue that I have a "crush" on Rev. Diane Rollert of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, or former MFC Director Rev. Diane Miller, or Rev. Dr Tracey Robinson-Harris. . .
:In short, while I don't think you have a crush on her in a directr sense, you don't behave like someone who dislikes her, you behave like you want her to notice you and think about you.
Well as I said CC. It is not so much a question of disliking Rev. Victoria Weinstein as disliking some of her obnoxious and hypocritical behaviour. I am not trying to get Rev. Weinstein's attention CC. I am trying to get U*Us attention to notice the hypocritical, obnoxious, and outright abusive behaviour of Rev. Victoruia Weinstein and other unmentionable U*U ministers and actually think about their obviously unbecoming conduct and indeed their clergy misconduct of various kinds. . .
Follow the links from the lyrics and you and other U*Us will see that this is far from just being about Rev. Victoria Weinstein. Au contraire, Peacebang is just one sideshow freak in a much bigger U*U circus. . .
A google search reveals you've written about Peacebang on this blog 95 times, and that doesn't count what you've written about her other places.
CC
How do you know I am not one of those polyamourous U*Us Joel?
Maybe Poly wants a crack at all of them. . . ;-)
Can U*Us feel the love?
CC
You really are quite something Joel. Allow me to re*butt your U*U BS point by ridiculous point. . .
:I think it was not an insinuation but a deduction;
Who know's Joel? Maybe it's your own "deduction" posted anonymously here. . . It does not change the fact that the anonymous comment insinuates that I have some kind of romantic interest.
:a conclussion that was not drawn out of whole cloth,
Whatever that means. . .
:given your demonstrable obscession.
There is no "obscession" as you put it. Certainly not a romantic one. As I have already demonstrated I am no more obsessed with Rev. Victoria Weinstein aka Peacebang than any other obnoxious and hypocritical U*U minister, female or otherwise.
:There might be other reasons for writing about someone nearly a hundred times in one's own blog, and spam-linking to it as many more times in everyone else's blogs, but it is not an unreasonable conclussion.
It most certainly is quite unreasonable to conclude that I have some kind of obsessive romantic interest in Rev. Victoria Weinstein when the "other reasons" for writing about her are patently obvious to anyone reading this blog or indeed my comments about Rev. Weinstein elsewhere on the internet.
:You obviously have enormous respect for her-
Oh really? So just how did you come up with that peculiar conclusion Sherlock?
:if she were a nobody, you wouldn't care what she says.
The fact that "somebody" may not be a "nobody" and that some people may have some concerns about what that "somebody" says, to say nothing of how they say it. . . in no way implies that they have "enormous respect" for that "somebody" no matter how "enormous" that "somebody" may well be. Just to underline the ridiculousness of your conclusion. Allow me to ask the following rhetorical question -
Do you really think that all those U*Us who obviously care quite a bit about what US President George W. Bush says, to say nothing of how he says it. . . have enormous respect for President Bush, let alone some kind of obsessive romantic interest in him?
:And one of your major complaints is that she deleted your comments- a personal rejection.
Actually I am rather more concerned about Rev. Victoria Weinstein's insulting and defamatory foot-in-mouth disease than her own rather obsessive "memory-holing" of my comments that exposed her outrageously hypocritical double standards on her Peacebang blog. . .
:And you still read her blog, hoping she'll mention your name-
I still read her blog from time to time looking for more examples of her rather virulent strain of U*U foot-in-mouth disease Joel. Where do you get the bizarre idea that I am hoping she'll mention my name, especially when on the only occasion that she ever did so, it was to insult and defame me?
:otherwise how would you know whether she had apologized or not.
You really are out totally to lunch Joel. I would hardly scan Rev. Victoria Weinstein's blog looking for an apology from her, especially when she has not only obstinately refused to provide one but the UUA's Congregational Services department and its oh so aptly named Ministerial Fellowship Committee have both complicitly condoned Rev. Weinstein's insulting and defamatory unbecoming conduct. Indeed these two corrupted departments of the UUA are both quite obviously guilty of lying, when they oughta be truthin'. . . These DIM Thinking U*Us keep losin' when they oughta not bet and keep samin' when they oughta be changin'. Yes Joel, what's right is right, but these U*Us ain't been right yet. . .
:You can't blame anonymous for looking where all the arrows are pointing.
Wrong Joel. I most certainly can blame "anonyomous", you, ChaliceChick, and any number of other DIM Thinking U*Us for Denying, Ignoring or Minimizing where all the arrows are quite obviously pointing. . .
