Rev. Daniel Harper And Yet Another Unitarian Universalist Child Sex Abuse Cover-Up Effort - What's The Connection?

How about this comment that I just submitted in response to the 'Transparency, part three' blog post on Rev. Daniel Harper's 'Yet Another Universalist' blog minutes ago?

The Ministerial Fellowship Committee (MFC) of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA) publishing a list of all ministers who have been removed from fellowship is NOT "making a big step towards transparency". It's a comparatively small step because, as you and other UUA clergy know. . . the number of UUA ministers who have actually been removed from fellowship in the UUA's aptly named Ministerial *Fellowship* Committee for misconduct of one kind or another is a small fraction of the number of UUA ministers who are actually guilty of clergy misconduct of one kind or another. A minimum of 400 UUA congregations have been affected by clergy sexual misconduct, sometimes by multiple ministers, but only seven have actually been removed from fellowship aka defellowshipped by the MFC, and at least three of these seven defellowshipped ministers were only defellowshipped after they were convicted of serious sex crimes, sometimes only months after they were convicted of sexual abuse of children.

What was "transparent" about the UU World Magazine’s Milestones section listing ministers removed from Fellowship? Some ministers who were found guilty of sex crimes weren't even removed from fellowship by the MFC, they resigned before they could be defellowshipped.

I came across the UUA's list of ministers removed from fellowship late last year after running a Google search for:

"Mack Mitchell" + rape

because I have reasonable grounds to believe that the UUA, or perhaps some other Unitarian Universalists, have been using search engine suppression techniques to have The Emerson Avenger blog posts hidden in Google search results.  I blogged about it on Sunday, November 28, 2021, and reproduced the whole list on The Emerson Avenger blog because the UUA can't be trusted to keep that web page online. Numerous web pages about Unitarian Universalist clergy misconduct have been taken down aka "memory holed" by the UUA over the last decade or two.

Guess what?

I ran the same Google search in December, and it no longer finds that UUA web page. . .

As usual. . . the UUA is playing a double game of pretending to be transparent about clergy sexual misconduct, while going to extreme and foolish lengths to try to keep it hidden from the public as much as it thinks it can get away with.

Thank you for acknowledging that "now it’ll be harder to hide the fact that their minister has violated the ethical standards of the UUA". The unwritten subtext of this assertion is that some Unitarian Universalist congregations have hidden the fact that their minister has violated the ethical standards of the UUA. . .

Speaking of "the ethical standards of the UUA" these "ethical standards" include having me served with a "less than honest" cease and desist demand letter threatening me with criminal prosecution for the archaic criminal act of "blasphemous libel" if I did not take down aka "memory hole" The Emerson Avenger blog posts about "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" most certainly committed by "certain Unitarian Universalist ministers".

Who knew that the Unitarian Universalist Association holds "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape" to be sacred and holy to Unitarian Universalism, at least when such despicable crimes are committed by Unitarian Universalist ministers?

http://emersonavenger.blogspot.com/2015/10/unitarian-universalists-pedophilia-rape.html

The "ethical standards" of the UUA also include brazenly lying about the sexual abuse of children by UUA clergy, and minimizing the extent and seriousness of Unitarian Universalist clergy sexual misconduct in general, in the "less than honest", and thus totally worthless, UUA Board "official apology" for clergy sexual misconduct that UUA Moderator Jim Key aka Risk Management consultant James "See NO Evil" Key inappropriately inserted into the middle of his first Moderator's Report to a UUA GA in 2014. . .

https://emersonavenger.blogspot.com/2015/12/uua-moderator-jim-key-liar-liar-pants.html

I could go on and on about the ethical standards of the UUA, but I will leave it at that for now. . .

Suffice to say that the ethical standards of the UUA are extremely low, if they exist at all. . .

If the UUA had any ethical standards at all it would have long ago publicly apologized for falsely accusing Yours Truly of the archaic criminal act of blasphemous libel in UUA child sex abuse cover-up legal bullying in June 2012, and it would have disclosed the Truth about just how many Unitarian Universalist ministers are guilty of committing "such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape".

I'm still waiting. . .

The UUA continues to try to conceal clergy sexual misconduct as much as it thinks it can get away with, it just can't get away with it as much as it did in the past. . .
