UUA President Peter Morales' Vision Is Irrelevant Unless It Is Also The Vision Of The UUA Board Of Trustees. . .

But don't take my word for it, because I would not make such a highly questionable statement that clearly minimizes the role and influence of the President of the UUA. . . take the word of the UUA trustee from the New England District, Rev. Will Saunders, for it.

Can U*Us say "power struggle"?

Thankfully the Pacific Northwest District UUA Trustee, Rev. Elizabeth Greene, put Rev. William Saunders in his place by saying,

"As an individual, I would have said different things. I would have said, Welcome! If you have a different vision than I have, let's talk about it and work together."

Perhaps more significantly, and hopefully quite sincerely, UUA Moderator Gini Courter said,

"Yes, let's do the welcoming thing. It's good to have you here."

According to the UU World blog report the UUA Board of Trustees will be "talking about its new relationship with the president under the new governance system" this evening. U*Us might want to enter into a free and responsible search for the truth and meaning of exactly how "the new governance system" affects the relationship of the President of the UUA with the UUA Board of Trustees.
