Teresa Nielsen Hayden Says That It Really Sucks That The UUA & MFC Allow Unitarian*Universalist Ministers To Flame People Hairless On The Internet

That's right U*Us. . .

Science fiction author Teresa Nielsen Hayden says -

"I haven't read the interactions you describe, so I can't pass judgment on them. However, taken solely as an abstract principle, the idea that "it's all right to flame people hairless, as long as you do so anonymously" just purely sucks."

The "interactions" that I described in a previous TEA blog post were my "electronic communications" aka email correspondence with *the* Rev. Dr. Tracey Robinson-Harris and Rev. Beth Miller regarding how "less than excellent" U*U minister Rev. Victoria Weinstein was guilty of "flaming people hairless" with deeply insulting, and otherwise offensive and verbally abusive, blog posts and comments under the cowardly cover of internet anonymity using the pseudonym Peacebang. The pertinent "interactions" may be read by following the pertinent link in my follow-up comment responding to that of Teresa Nielsen Hayden which is reproduced below -

Thanks for your comment here Teresa.

Read this string of "electronic communications" between your's truly and former UUA Congregational Services Director Rev. Dr. Tracey Robinson-Harris and weep. . .

The key sentence says -

It is the case that in this situation the minister’s blog is anonymous (though you were able to identify the individual) and that she is free to express her opinions and to do so outside of her professional role as a minister serving a congregation.

end quote

This idiotic ruling effectively means that any and all U*U ministers can "flame people hairless" as you so aptly put it, with complete impunity, zero accountability whatsoever, not so much as a reprimand. . . as long as these verbally and psychologically abusive U*U ministers do so anonymously. . .
