A Unitarian Universalist Minister Affirms And Promotes The "Prophetic Work" Of The Emerson Avenger
The Emerson Avenger was pleasantly surprised the other day when a Unitarian Universalist minister with whom he was sharing some "electronic communications" concluded one of their emails responding to his "electronic communications" with the following salutation -
"With appreciation for your prophetic work,"
Since it is a rare thing indeed for any Unitarian Universalist minister to express *appreciation* for anything that The Emerson Avenger does, let alone describe his ongoing exposing and denouncing U*U clergy misconduct, and UUA mishandling thereof, along with a variety of other U*U injustices, abuses, and hypocrisy as "prophetic work", I decided to seek this UU minister's permission to publicize their affirming words about your's truly in a blog post here. The prompt and encouraging response of this UU minister to my request to publicly post their complimentary and validating words here was -
"I am fine if you mention that a UU minister said you were doing prophetic work.
You are."
I dare say that this affirming and promoting UU minister made The Emerson Avenger's day the other day, if not his whole week last week.
