Why does this cartoon remind me of so many of the U*Us I know?

I have recently posted about how some Montreal U*Us avoid looking at my picket sign slogans as they pass by me on their way into the Unitarian Church of Montreal but yesterday was special. . . A young woman firmly closed her eyes as the walked past me in order to avoid seeing my picket sign slogans. Talk about none who are so blind as those who will not see. . .
