The Emerson Avenger Agrees That U*U Men And Women Are Equally Capable Of Sin And Error

Over on her Peacebang blog small-town U*U "pastor" Rev. Victoria Weinstein said:

"I decided that I didn't want to hang out in religious groups that were (a) that humorless (b) that blind to their own hypocrisies (c) that much in denial about their own shadow side and (d) unwilling to see men and women as equally capable of sin and error."

So why do you hang out with rather humorless corpse-cold Unitarians then Rev. Weinstein?

You and no shortage of other U*Us are remarkably blind to your own outrageous hypocrisy, and seem to be more than a little bit in denial of your own shadow side. . .

You may be happy to know that I am more than willing to see men and women as equally capable of sin and error. I have noticed however that U*U men and women are stunningly, and quite shamefully, loathe to admit that they are equally capable of sin and error as other human beings. . . Indeed most of the U*Us I know seem to be chronically unready, obstinately unwilling, and even pathologically unable to acknowledge their own glaringly obvious sins and errors. . .
