The Emerson Avenger

The Emerson Avenger is a "memory hole" free blog where censorship is scorned. This blog will "guard the right to know" about any injustices and abuses that corrupt Unitarian Universalism. Posters may speak and argue freely, according to conscience, about any injustices and abuses, or indeed hypocrisy, that they may know about so that the Avenger, in the form of justice and redress, may come surely and swiftly. . . "Slowly, slowly the Avenger comes, but comes surely." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

In 1992 I underwent a profound revelatory experience of God which revealed that the total solar eclipse "Eye of God" is a "Sign in the Heavens" that symbolizes God's divine omniscience. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan of the Unitarian Church of Montreal contemptuously dismissed as my "psychotic experience" here: - This revelatory religious experience inspired me to propose an inter-religious celebration of Creation that would take place whenever a total solar eclipse took place over our planet. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan and other leading members of the Unitarian Church of Montreal falsely and maliciously labeled as a "cult" here: - I am now an excommunicated Unitarian whose "alternative spiritual practice" includes publicly exposing and denouncing Unitarian*Universalist injustices, abuses, and hypocrisy. The Emerson Avenger blog will serve that purpose for me and hopefully others will share their concerns here. Dee Miller's term DIM Thinking is used frequently and appropriately on this blog. You may read more about what DIM Thinking is here -

Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt Of King's Chapel Boston Gives Anti-Christian And Anti-Theist U*U Hypocrites Hell For Lent. . .

That's the Spirit Kristin! :-)

"The hatred of Christianity seems to me to be the elephant in the UUA’s proverbial room; the UUA pays significant lip service to our corporate need for nurturing and healing, but does little to actually promote the kind of targeted healing so many of our ex-Christian seekers seemingly need."

"Faced with the suffocating reality of not only anti-theism and anti-Christianity but also ageism and sexism in our Association at large and even among my ministerial colleagues, I have often found myself in an emotional desert. I’m angry at the hypocrisy of an Association of congregations that has largely abandoned its theological traditions."

The rest of Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt's "rambling stream-of-consciousness response" to Rev. Scott Wells' 'GIVING UP UNITARIAN UNIVERSALISM FOR LENT' blog post may be read here.

And I do recommend that U*Us would be well advised to read it and then respond in responsibility to the Spirit that bloweth where Rev. Kristen's "rant" listeth. . .

It only just came to my attention *now* that someone* deleted Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt's comment about anti-Christian and anti-Theist Unitarian*Universalists from Rev. Scott Wells' 'Giving Up Unitarian Universalism For Lent' blog post, so the link I provided to the actual comment for verification purposes now goes to a "404 Not Found" error message.

This blog post very Truthfully and accurately reproduces exactly what Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt wrote, but if anyone has any doubts as to the authenticity of my quoting all they need to do is enter the URL of the deleted comment:

into the Internet Archive's WayBack Machine which may be found at this URL:

This is the full Internet Archive URL which preserves the deleted comment:

* It is almost a certainty that none other than Rev. Scott Wells deleted Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt's comment.

Well what do you know?

I assumed that Rev. Scott Wells just deleted Rev. Kristin Grassel Schmidt's comment, but it seems that he deleted his whole 'Giving Up Unitarian Universalism For Lent' blog post, along with all the associated comments.

Thankfully Rev. Scott Wells' blog post, and a "less than lucky" 13 comments, has been preserved for U*U posteriority by the Internet Archive. :-)

OK So it turns out that Rev. Scott Wells didn't "memory hole" this blog post. He transferred it to his Rev. Scott Wells WordPress account.
