Unitarian Universalism aka The U*U Movement aka *The* Tiny Declining Fringe Religion™ Is Associated With Tawdry Behavior And Outrageous Hypocrisy

Take the word of UUA President *the* Reverend Doctor Peter Morales, as posted to his brand-spanking new ironically named 'Beyond Belief' blog post entitled -

OK so I tweaked President Morales' words just a little bit in order to make a Big Fat U*U Point or two. . .

At one level, one can hardly be surprised at the decline of confidence in The Tiny Declining Fringe Religion™. Persons of inherent worth and dignity have seen a few of the scandals of U*U clergy sexual abuse that the UUA was quite regrettably unable to cover-up and hide, to say absolutely nothing of non-sexual forms of U*U clergy abuse such as Peacebang's Big Fat U*U Sodomy Fantasy which *could* be construed as sexual harassment of, and even threatening language towards. . . South Dakota state senator William "Bill" Napoli. Big Fat U*U Scandals that were largely ignored, and all too often tolerated and even outright condoned, by the Unitarian Universalist "Church".

If “The Tiny Declining Fringe Religion™” were a brand, many would conclude that that Big Fat U*U *Brand* was in Big Fat U*U trouble these days. . . Increasingly people of inherent worth and dignity associate Unitarian Universalism aka *The* Tiny Declining Fringe Religion™ aka The U*U Movement with tawdry behavior and with outrageous hypocrisy. . .

Yes, there is an even bigger Big Fat U*U Picture as well. . . U*U Welcoming Congregations that are "less than welcoming", if not outright repelling visitors by giving many persons of inherent worth and dignity the corpse-cold Unitarian shoulder. U*U "churches" that are "less than authentic" aka hypocritical, if not outright fraudulent. . . are dwindling and even dying a corpse-cold Unitarian death. All kinds of alternative spiritual practices are also happening *outside* the Big Fat U*U "Walls" of such tiny, declining, Unitarian Universalist "churches".

This is a volatile and vulnerable time for all those other "obsolete religions", not just our "tiny, declining, fringe religion." It is also a time *rich* with Big Fat U*U Implausibility aka incredulity aka being all but completely "Beyond Belief". . . I am absolutely convinced that we Unitarian Universalists have more potential for tawdry behavior and hypocrisy than "others". The U*U Movement has a message of openness for intolerance. U*Us obstinately refuse to work for compassion and justice for victims of clergy misconduct, to say nothing of victims of other injustices and abuses in the U*U World. . . U*Uism offers an UNSAFE SECT that nurtures intolerant and abusive aka "less than safe" U*U clergy like Rev. Ray Drennan and Rev. Victoria Weinstein just for starters. . .. Our Big Fat U*U Challenge is to seize this Big Fat U*U Opportunity presented to us by The Emerson Avenger to miss another yet another Unitarian Universalist opportunity to responsibly CHANGE our shamefully tawdry behavior and outrageously hypocritical words. . .
