Unitarian*Universalism - Imagine A Religion That Insults Many Different Beliefs, Including Yours. . .

As may be seen in the 'Spitting In God's Eye' Montreal Mirror newspaper article of June 1998 about my public protest against the anti-religious intolerance and bigotry of *the* Rev. Ray Drennan aka *the* Rev. Raymond Drennan, and the fact that it had been condoned and effectively endorsed by both the Board and congregation of the Unitarian Church of Montreal and the UUA's ever so aptly named Ministerial *Fellowship* Committee, I have been publicly protesting against the intolerant and abusive anti-religious insults and outright defamation of Unitarian*Universalist U*Us for over a decade now. As may be seen in the photograph illustrating the article, one of my very first picket sign slogans played off of the local advertising efforts of the Unitarian Church of Montreal in the Montreal Gazette's religion section, which included using a dubious advertising slogan saying -

A church where your doubts are not rediculed. (sic)

by saying -

A CHURCH WHERE YOUR BELIEFS ARE RIDICULED*

So it is really quite ironic just how easy it was to plagU*Urize this UUA propaganda web banner to say pretty much what I was publicly saying way back in the summer of 1998 which, to the best of my recollection, definitely was not the Summer of Love. . .

So just when are the Unitarian*Universalist "religious community" in general, and the Unitarian Church of Montreal in particular, going to get around to holding intolerant and verbally abusive U*U clergy accountable for insulting and defaming people? How many more days, weeks, months, years, decades do I need to publicly protest against the insulting and defamatory language of the U*Us before *The* Tiny Declining Fringe Religion known U*U World-wide as Unitarian*Universalism finally gets around to cleaning up its act?
