How big a problem is sexual misconduct among UU clergy? Is this a big enough problem to be on your platform for reform if elected UUA President?

I don't really know David. I guess it's as big a 'Problem' as DIM Thinking see no evil hear, no evil, U*Us want it to be. . . which seems to be not very much.

Yes. In fact it is already on the UUA's platform aka Potemkin Village of half-hearted, to say nothing of half-assed. . . reform. My approach however would be to ensure that the whole system of dealing with *all* forms of clergy misconduct was reformed. I have reasonable grounds to believe that the U*Us running the UUA place such a strong emphasis on clergy sexual misconduct in order to Deny, Ignore or Minimize any all forms of non-sexual clergy misconduct, some of which are every bit as harmful and damaging (if not more so) to victims and implicated/affected U*U congregations than some of the lesser forms of clergy sexual misconduct.
Real reform, to say nothing of real *enforcement*, of the UUA's existing policies and procedures for dealing with clergy misconduct is definitely needed. Valid and valuable recommendations for improvements to these policies and procedures have been ignored and/or dismissed or simply not implemented and enforced on UUA President Bill Sinkford's "watch" aka "oversight". . .
