The Emerson Avenger

The Emerson Avenger is a "memory hole" free blog where censorship is scorned. This blog will "guard the right to know" about any injustices and abuses that corrupt Unitarian Universalism. Posters may speak and argue freely, according to conscience, about any injustices and abuses, or indeed hypocrisy, that they may know about so that the Avenger, in the form of justice and redress, may come surely and swiftly. . . "Slowly, slowly the Avenger comes, but comes surely." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

In 1992 I underwent a profound revelatory experience of God which revealed that the total solar eclipse "Eye of God" is a "Sign in the Heavens" that symbolizes God's divine omniscience. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan of the Unitarian Church of Montreal contemptuously dismissed as my "psychotic experience" here: - This revelatory religious experience inspired me to propose an inter-religious celebration of Creation that would take place whenever a total solar eclipse took place over our planet. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan and other leading members of the Unitarian Church of Montreal falsely and maliciously labeled as a "cult" here: - I am now an excommunicated Unitarian whose "alternative spiritual practice" includes publicly exposing and denouncing Unitarian*Universalist injustices, abuses, and hypocrisy. The Emerson Avenger blog will serve that purpose for me and hopefully others will share their concerns here. Dee Miller's term DIM Thinking is used frequently and appropriately on this blog. You may read more about what DIM Thinking is here -

This Latest U*U Jihad® FatU*Ua Was Just *Posted* Somewhere In The U*U WORLD

Believe it or not. . .

Extremely misguided and outrageously hypocritical Canadian U*Us, i.e. the leaders of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, quite effectively spat on the Canadian Constitution (aka the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms) by having Robin Edgar falsely arrested on trumped criminal charges in an cynical attempt to permanently end his ongoing peaceful public protest against Unitarian*Universalist (aka U*U) injustices, abuses and hypocrisy in front of the Unitarian Church of Montreal. Robin Edgar had the last laugh in that *criminal* U*U assault on civil liberties by Montreal Unitarians by being quite rightly acquitted of the very dubious criminal charges that were brought against him by outrageously hypocritical Canadian U*Us. It should be perfectly evident to any and all rational human beings that Montreal Unitarians (aka U*Us) engaged in a deeply cynical and outrageously hypocritical misuse and abuse of the Canadian Criminal Code in their misguided, deperate, and ultimately quite futile efforts to completely censor, and even totally suppress, Robin Edgar's ongoing peaceful public protest in front of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, and occasionally even *behind* it. . . ;-) ;-) Apparently the leaders of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, most ironically including minister emeritus Rev. Charles Eddis himself. . . are guilty of sincere ignorance of the readily verifiable fact that once upon a time Rev. Charles Eddis wrote the following words in a Unitarian*Universalist U*U tract that purports to explain 'What Unitarians and Universalists Believe'. . .

"We jealously guard the right to know, to speak and to argue freely, according to conscience, within our own church and in society at large. We are opposed to censorship by church, state, or any other institution. We believe that truth emerges more clearly under conditions of freedom."

Gee ya coulda fooled me Rev. Charles Eddis. . . NOT!

Your alleged "church", i.e. the Unitarian Church of Montreal, quite evidently attempted to misuse and abuse the federal (aka *State*) criminal laws that are enacted in the Canadian Criminal Code in order to criminalize my legitimate dissent and peaceful public protest, in a deeply cynical misguided effort to obtain a court ordered injunction that would abrogate and deny my Charter guaranteed rights and freedoms by banning me from protesting in front of the Unitarian Church of Montreal. How genuinely regrettable it is that the Unitarian Church of Montreal, and by extension the greater Unitarian*Universalist religious community. . . not only quite pathetically failed to prove its highly dubious criminal charges against me but also lost any credibility at all to be genuinely opposed to censorship by church and state etc. or a defender of civil liberties. Au contraire the Unitarian Church of Montreal very clearly attempted to misuse and abuse State criminal law in its outrageously hypocritical efforts to impose U*U "church" censorship on my legitimate public protest against Unitarian*Universalist aka U*U injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. All that these sincerely ignorant and conscientiously stupid Canadian U*Us succeeded in doing was to provide more ammunition, indeed some pretty heavy artillery (if not a potential U*U Jihad® neutron bomb. . .) for Robin Edgar's ongoing U*U Jihad® against U*U injustices, U*U abuses, and outrageous U*U hypocrisy, to say nothing of the really quite dangerous sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity that pervades and degrades the U*U World, including the very well-documented sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity of rather too many U*U ministers and top level U*U leaders in the C*U*C and the U*U*A.

Happy New Year Indrax aka Brother Boot Knife of Quiet Contemplation!

The Emerson Avenger aka The Dagger of Sweet Reason has been enjoying the Holiday Season and has also been quite preoccupied with other matters. . .

Care to contemplate this proposal and provide some input?

I like it.

At first I thought you'd habe been better sticking with 'Creation Day' but I think World Day of Conscience explains the point better.

With any luck Creation Day can make a come-back, maybe even sooner rather than later. . . but for now I think that a World Day of Conscience is rather more urgently needed and I will be concentrating my efforts on promoting my World Day of Conscience proposal. The original proposals for Creation Day always had an element of excercising our consciences but the World Day of Conscience proposal responds more directly to the total solar eclipse Eye of God symbolism (whether one believes in God or not. . .) and hopefully will lead to some very concrete results in the months, years and decades ahead. Your input is welcome I already have a fair number of good ideas about things that may be done to observe a World Day of Conscience but the more the merrier.
