LU*Utheran Marvin Haave will less than surprisingly, aka all too predictably, maintain that the real world, to say nothing of the U*U World. . . needs more Unitarians aka Unitarian*Universalists aka U*Us because in a time of warfare, strife, environmental degradation and financial meltdown we need people who are committed to living principled lives and being active in improving this world of ours. Unitarians are committed to this life, to the well-being of all peoples and, in fact to all animate and inanimate beings. Given that Unitarians welcome people of all faiths or non-faiths and encourage people to 'walk their talk' in terms of social justice and civic duty, Marvin feels that the world needs to attract more people to the Unitarian movement who are also working for some fundamental changes.
