The Emerson Avenger

The Emerson Avenger is a "memory hole" free blog where censorship is scorned. This blog will "guard the right to know" about any injustices and abuses that corrupt Unitarian Universalism. Posters may speak and argue freely, according to conscience, about any injustices and abuses, or indeed hypocrisy, that they may know about so that the Avenger, in the form of justice and redress, may come surely and swiftly. . . "Slowly, slowly the Avenger comes, but comes surely." - Ralph Waldo Emerson

In 1992 I underwent a profound revelatory experience of God which revealed that the total solar eclipse "Eye of God" is a "Sign in the Heavens" that symbolizes God's divine omniscience. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan of the Unitarian Church of Montreal contemptuously dismissed as my "psychotic experience" here: http://revelationisnotsealed.homestead.com - This revelatory religious experience inspired me to propose an inter-religious celebration of Creation that would take place whenever a total solar eclipse took place over our planet. You may read about what Rev. Ray Drennan and other leading members of the Unitarian Church of Montreal falsely and maliciously labeled as a "cult" here: http://creationday.homestead.com - I am now an excommunicated Unitarian whose "alternative spiritual practice" includes publicly exposing and denouncing Unitarian*Universalist injustices, abuses, and hypocrisy. The Emerson Avenger blog will serve that purpose for me and hopefully others will share their concerns here. Dee Miller's term DIM Thinking is used frequently and appropriately on this blog. You may read more about what DIM Thinking is here - http://www.takecourage.org/defining.htm

ReTweet! ReTweet U*Us! The Emerson Avenger Is On A Big Fat U*U *Offensive* In The Ever Expanding U*U Twittersphere. . .

Just saying as they say. . . :-)

Here are some of the best offences. . . :-)

harlanlimpert
Wonderfing (sic) if it's worth seeing Defiance.

RobinEdgar
@harlanlimpert I am sure that it is Harlan. Chances are pretty good that Defiance will be standing right outside 25 Beacon Street again soon

harlanlimpert
@Pogue I can ONLY use jumbo paper clips. Small ones are worthless.

Robin Edgar
@harlanlimpert @Pogue May I presume that you are referring to the paper clips that you use for U*U clergy misconduct files here Harlan? :-)

BGinKC Blue Girl
@Pres_Bartlet So Christianity and Judaism hingee (sic) on the Ten Suggestions? I thought that was the Unitarians?

RobinEdgar
@BGinKC @Pres_Bartlet Hmmm. I wonder what part of "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife" Rev. Dr. Forrest Church failed to understand?

planethunt
The most violent thing the Unitarians could come up with telling Satan to do was to go sit on a tack? bit.ly/nSbHDa

RobinEdgar
@planethunt Well *one* U*U minister once blogged a "sodomy fantasy" imagining a senator "anally impaled on the Statue of Liberty's torch"...

smithbunnie Lindsay
122 teens later, the #SUUSI teen dorm is in full swing! (Also, I'm exhausted, and just want to curl up in a ball and sleep.)

RobinEdgar
@smithbunnie "the #SUUSI teen dorm is in full swing" Oh dear. . .

RobinEdgar
@BadMFCAdvice Are you perhaps similarly interested in some Small Group Ministry? nudge nudge ;-) ;-)

joyomama Jo Paoletti
@Taigitsune The Unitarian who came closest to being like a 60s hippie was Thoreau. UUs in the 60s were enaged, not dropping out.

RobinEdgar
@joyomama @Taigitsune Yes I have heard that UUs were engaged in group sex in the 1960s. . . :-)

RobinEdgar
@drmardy How prophetic! He actually said that half a century before U*Us came up with the Seven Principles they talk on but rarely act on.
